Dianne Lynn Chase is the Principal and founder of Chase Media, which specializes in expert services such as crisis communication, media relations, and media training. The company focuses on developing leadership brand identity through effective message development, issues management, and planning. Additionally, Chase Media offers instruction in business storytelling and presentation and interviewing skills training for corporate, non-profit, and government clients.
Ms. Chase has extensive experience as a spokesperson and on-the-scene media consultant in crisis communication situations for a variety of clients, including international business concerns. With a robust career in broadcast journalism, she brings a wealth of insight, knowledge, and unique experience to serving client partners. Her ability to craft compelling business storytelling helps clients effectively communicate their messages during critical times.
Her work includes establishing positive media relationships and events for clients, conducting numerous successful media interviews on behalf of client partners, and developing a writing improvement course for key communicators with the U.S. Forest Service.
Ms. Chase has established expertise and comprehensive experience in high-level professional communications, crisis communication planning, training and management, media relations, public relations, executive communications coaching and consulting, and presentation skills training. She is a creative manager, organizational leader, professional instructor/trainer, communications consultant, freelance writer, and public speaker who has managed comprehensive campaigns to promote clients’ public policy positions and enhance their leadership brand identity.
Her broadcast journalism career includes positions throughout the Carolinas as news director, anchor, and reporter at top news radio stations. A winner of numerous local, state, regional, and national broadcast journalism awards, Ms. Chase served as an adjunct professor at UNC-Charlotte, Winthrop University, the University of Bucharest, Romania, and Knoxville Business College.
She is the past International Chair of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), past Chair of IABC Southern Region, and current president of IABC Charlotte.
Ms. Chase is a long-standing board member of the Radio-Television Digital News Association of the Carolinas (formerly the Radio Television News Directors Association of the Carolinas). She was elected the organization’s first woman president and was the first RTNDAC president re-elected to a second consecutive term. She spearheaded record membership expansion, conference attendance, and budget growth for the organization. She currently serves on the board as Chair of Professional Development.

For over 30 years, primarily in Washington, DC, Brent Gilroy has been instrumental in helping clients across various interest sectors achieve their goals through effective business storytelling and compelling communications initiatives. His work emphasizes educating key audiences and promoting meaningful action among private and public sector leaders, all while reinforcing leadership brand identity.
As an independent public affairs counselor, and previously in senior roles at the Washington offices of Burson-Marsteller and Powell Tate, Brent has successfully led integrated lobbying and communications teams, collaborating with specialists in coalition building, opinion research, and other disciplines across sectors such as:
